Port Huron, Oct. 19. -- The steambarge CANADA burned here last night and is practically a total loss. She was owned by John Nesbitt of Sarnia, was valued at $6,000, and insured in the Western of Toronto.

The steambarge CANADA burned her upperworks in a fire at about 12 o'clock last night near the Grand Trunk Bridge. She is owned by John Nesbit of sarnia.

The steambarge CANADA which was burnt near the Fibre Works last fall, has had her machinery removed and has been rebuilt up from the water's edge at a cost of $4,000. It is now an American bottom, owned by J.S. Nesbitt of this city.
