Albany, Jan. 31.

A gentleman from Sacket's Harbor mentions that 400 sleighs have recently been sent to the French Mills, to transport the troops from that place to the Harbor; and it was reported in this city on Saturday, that the army had or were immediately to leave French Mills for Sacket's Harbor, & that the boats, block houses, &c. at the former place, had been destroyed, preparatory to the troops moving off.
