It is understood that Sacket's Harbor is completely invested by the British fleet on Ontario.

Several alarms have been occasioned at Oswego by the re-appearance of a British force off the place, and the militia in the neighborhood have in conseqence been repeatedly called upon.

On Saturday a heavy and incessant firing was heard at Sodus, in the direction of Sacket's Harbor, from 12 to 8 o'clock P.M.

The British captured near Sacket's harbor, the 10th ult. the schooner Lark, laden with U. States property. The vessel was owned by Capt. Eadus, of Sodus, and is valued at $1,500.
