The tug MYRTLE of Sandusky, with her lighter loaded with wood, went ashore on the east side of Point Pelee Island, Wednesday night, and may prove a total loss. She with her lighter, cost two years ago, $9,500. There is no insurance. The tug is owned by J. B. Hart & Son, of Sandusky.
