DISASTERS TO SHIPPING AND LOSS OF LIFE
      Kingston, Nov. 29. -- The steam barge IVANHOE is ashore at Oak Point, a short distance down the river. A large schooner, name unknown, is reported ashore on Carlton Island. The gale has abated. Freezing hard tonight.
