Full Text

The steamer MAYFLOWER burned to the water's edge at her dock at penetanguishene, Ont. The crew barely escaped in their nightclothing. The MAYFLOWER was a supply steamer running to the islands, along the eastern shore of Georgian Bay. The fire is supposed to have originated from the furnace.
