THE " OKONRA " BURNED. -- The Advertiser says that the Steamer OKONRA, Owned by Captain E. Dunn, was destroyed by fire on Thursday morning, 5th. inst, at 5 o'clock, while lying at the dock at Wiarton. John Rothull, fireman, was the only person aboard at the time. The cause of the fire is unknown. Books and papers were all lost. NO insurance . Captain Dunn will have the sympathy of the community in this severe misfortune.

      In ten f'eet of water, close to the west shore of the Bay, (Colpoys) north of the fish hatchery and off a large boulder, lies a steamer which may be the 52 ton Tug OKOURA, launched at Owen Sound in 1867 and burned at Wiarton on Oct. 5th. 1878
