Repairs to the steamer SYLVANIA, recently in collision with the steamer BESSEMER on Lake Superior, have been completed at the South Chicago Shipyard at a cost of $8,000. The SYLVANIA is now ready for service.

The steamer HENRY BESSEMER, which was in collision with the steamer SYLVANIA on Lake Superior, and which was dry-docked at Cleveland, is now as good as new, repairs having been completed.
