Buffalo, October 11. - [Special.] - The tug Peter Smith this afternoon towed the forward end of the Mackinaw to Port Colborne. The after end will be towed over in the morning. The superintendent of the Welland Canal has given permission to let her go through on Sunday so as not to interfere with regular navigation. Builder Wheeler is here and will go on to Montreal.
