Schooner HERCULES, 22 years old, Port of hail, Sarnia, 240 tons reg. Stranded in a snow storm on Nov. 8, 1892 on Manitoulin Island. Total loss, $6,000.

The schooner HERCULES was wrecked at Michael's Bay. The crew were rescued but the woman cook was drowned. She and the cargo are a total loss. She was built three years ago at Sarnia.
