“Confirmed The Decision - Judgement was rendered in Montreal in the appeal case of Sylvester Neelon and Patrick Kenny. The respondent (plaintiff in the court below) sued for $1,250 damages arising from a collision between the prop. Ocean and the barge Herald on Nov. 2, 1883, at the entrance of Lachine harbor. The Herald, of which the respondent was a charterer, was sunk. The first court dismissed the action, but in review this judgement was set aside and judgement was given in favour of the respondent for $800 damage. It was from the judgement in review that the present appeal was taken. The court today confirmed the above decision with costs.”
