Steam screw ALPS Built Buffalo in 1853, renamed INDIAN in 1860. Canadian Official No. 33495. Of 452 gross tons. 141 x 26 x 11. Classed as a steam barge. Rebuilt in 1882 as 137 x 25 x 11 and 320 gross tons. Formerly U.S. CITY OF HAMILTON until 1858 when she took Canadian registry. DISPOSITION. -- Burnt at Kingston, Oct. 26, 1885
