Burned July 5, 1895, near Bay City, Mich., on the Saginaw River.

The steamer C.A. FORBES of the Shore Line between Saginaw and Bay City, caught fire at 1:00 in the morning when opposite Melborne and burned to the water's edge. The passengers and crew are safe.
