      KITTIE FORBES A LIGHTER
The tugs GORMAN and C. M. BURTON left Detroit Friday afternoon, towing a dipper dredge, three lighters, and the hull of the steamer KITTY M. FORBES. The FORBES has been lying in the Twenty-fourth street "boneyard" since the fire on her at the Flats, about two years ago. It is learned that the FORBES had been purchased by Fort William parties and will be converted into a lighter. The entire tow was bound for Fort William.
