A GOOD SEASON'S WORK. - The schooner Gilbert Mollison, Captain "Joe." Turner, arrived in port this morning with colors flying and dressed out as though she was entering the harbor in June instead of December. The Mollison is entitled to the broom, as she is the only vessel out of this port which has made seven trips to Chicago.

Although the season has been a short one, opening late and closing early, the Mollison has probably sailed as many miles as was ever sailed in one season on the lakes. She has been very fortunate in getting good freights each trip and her earnings must have swelled the bank account to a considerable size. Captain Turner may feel proud of his record this season.
