The Schooner W.I. Preston. - The above vessel, which has lain sunk near the West Pier for some time, was sold on auction this morning by O.H. Brown, on behalf of the underwriters. The competition was sharp, but George Goble carried the prize off on a bid of $4,200. She will cost about $7,000 to put her in proper running order.
