The barge R.J. CARNEY, lumber laden, in tow of the NELLIE TORRENT, foundered yesterday on Lake St. Clair, and was abandoned by the crew. The captain reports that he never before saw such a sea on the lake.

NOTE:- The barge CARNEY was involved in a casualty in 1903, if the same vessel, then she was obviously recovered
from the above ?
