Robert E. Burke (Propeller), U111257, fire, 24 Dec 1901

Description
Full Text

The steamer ROBERT E. BURKE; owned by Barry Bros.; which operated last season on the Chicago lake-front passenger trade; was badly damaged by fire at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Muskegon. The boat was laid up for the season and the origan of the fire is a mystery. The upperworks were entirely burned away and the hull also suffered severely.
