JULY 29. - - The ADVENTURE of Whitby, from Leith, for Quebec, was lost on the 24 th. May last in the Gulf of St. Lawrence; the crew were saved. This is the identical ship that the circumnavigator, Capt. Cook, sailed around the world in. She was repaired at Whitby last year.
