Steam screw HELENA. U. S. No. 95970. Of 2,083 tons gross. Built 1888. On September 17, 1918, vessel stranded on Sunken Chicken reef, Lake Erie, with 22 persons on board, no lives were lost.

NOTE:-- Got off after stranding, and dismantled at Toledo, engine was put in Steam screw FRANK SEITHER, 1919 .
