Barge LORETTO B. HABER. U. S. No. 166686. Of 423 tons gross. Built 1916. On August 21, 1923, vessel stranded on Lake Erie. with one person on board. No lives being lost.

the 2 barges you mention were #238 and 241ashore on 8/21/1923. My information says they came ashore between Marblehead and Sandusky. They had a wheat cargo.
