Steam screw SANDY. U. S. No. 81398. Of 17 tons gross. Built 1892. On December 7, 1927, vessel sunk in Black Rock Ship Canal, N.Y., with 2 persons on board. No lives lost.

NOTE:-- Obviously W.N. PECKHAM was renamed SANDY during 1927, although not listed as such before her loss.
