Steamer ALEX. JONES of 11 tons register. Bound from Williamsburg, Ont., to Babbit's Dock Ont. on August 11, 1877, vessel burnt to a total loss. Home port, Amherstburg, Ont. Vessel was 12 years of age.. Loss valued at $1,000.
