Full Text

The "George Goble." - At half-past 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon the schooner "George Goble" was launched from the yard of the enterprising shipbuilder whose name she bears. A description of this fine vessel was given in these column some days since. A large crowd was in attendance, and cheered lustily as the "Goble" slid from the ways and made her first acquaintance with the aqueous element. The keel of another first-class schooner will be immediately laid, and a second launch will occur at Mr. Goble's yard some time in July.
