A Little Launch But A Good One - On Saturday last the fine little schooner Ida 100 tons burden, owned by our enterprising townsmen, E.Urquhart & Co., and built under their immediate supervision, was launched at Lock No. 2, and christened with due formality by Miss Bate, in the presence of a large body of spectator. The Ida is designed for the coasting trade, and is a smart little affair, compact as her name; in short she is a trim little craft, with a trim little name, under a trim little skipper (Captain W. Greigg) and may be expected do rather more than a snug little business. We wish her owners every success, assured that by continued perseverance their small beginnings will eventuate in a handsome ending.
