New Steamer For Lake Erie - The stock holders in the new steamer now building at Chippawa for the navigation of Lake Erie will be glad to learn that the frame was completed and the planking commenced last week. On Friday last the cylinder was cast and turned out beautifully; the boilers are far advanced, almost the whole of the other castings are finished, and it is believed that the engine will be one of the best and safest ever turned out by the Dock Company. The whole work is proceeding rapidly and in a perfectly satisfactory manner. - Niagara Chronicle
