NEW VESSELS LAUNCHED IN JUNE

The June supplement of Inland Lloyd's Vessel Register gives the following list of new vessels launched during that month: Propellers - John Harper, wood, 1,632 net tons; built at West Bay City by James Davidson, and owned by the American Transportation Company of Fairport, O.; valued at $150,000 and rating A1*. Hesper, wood, built at Cleveland by Ship-Owners Dry-Dock Company, of Cleveland, and owned by M. A. Bradley et al., of Cleveland; valued at $108,000 and rating A1*. Colgate Hoyt, 1,025 net tons, built at Duluth by Alex. McDougall and owned by the American Steel Barge Company of Duluth; value at $140,000 and rating A1. C. B. Lockwood, 1,733 net tons, built at Cleveland by Quayle's Sons and owned by Pennington and others, of Cleveland; valued at $150,000 and rating A1. Matoa, 1,835 net tons, built of steel by Globe Shipbuilding Company of Cleveland, and owned by Minnesota Steamship Company, of Ashtabula; valued at $200,000 and rating at A1. John Schroeder, wooden, 372 net tons, built by Rieboldt and Walters, of Sheboygan, Wis., and owned by J. Schroeder, of Milwaukee; valued at $46,000 and rating A1*. E. R. Shuck, wood, 1,524 net tons, built by Quayle's Sons, Cleveland, and owned by J. C. Gilchrist et al., of Vermillion, O.; valued at $125,000 and rating A1*. J. H. Wade, 1,502 net tons, built by Cleveland Shipbuilding Company, of Cleveland, and owned by Mr. Chisholm, et al., of Cleveland; valued at $165,000 and rating A1. Tug Andrew McLean, twelve net tons, built by James Davidson, West Bay City, and owned by Bridges and McLean, of Saginaw; valued at $6,500 and rating A1. Schooner Atlanta, wood, 570 net tons, built at West Bay City by James Davidson, and owned by Eastman et al., of Saginaw; valued at $35,000 and rating A1. Tow barge One Hundred Seven, steel, 1,231 net tons, built by McDougall at Duluth, and owned by the American Steel Barge Company, of Duluth; valued at $90,000 and rating A1. The total insurance value of vessel property set afloat during the month is $1,233,500.
