Along the Docks

The damage to the bridge by the barge J. Bentley, amounts to $428, which the owner of the barge will pay.

The wreck of the schooner Croquette sunk in the lower harbor, is to be removed immediately, the insurance companies and the owners of the lumber with which the schooner was loaded, paying proportionately the expense. The contract had been let to Ald. Gokey by Harbor Master Fitzgeralds for $500.

The Barge J. Bentley finished loading at the shutes of the D.L. & W. This afternoon, taking on board the largest load of coal that ever left this port being 812 tons. She takes the coal to Toronto.
