Monarch Breaks up and will be Abandoned

Toronto, Dec 12.-- The large steamer Monarch, which was wrecked off Isle Royale Friday night, is a total loss and there will be no attempt made to salvage her. During the night it is reported that she caved in in the centre and broke completely in two pieces, also that part of her rigging and decks are floating In the lake.
