Description
Full Text

The new and elegant steam propeller Emigrant landed on Tuesday evening last, at the Pier, upwards of 100 passengers and about 40 tons merchandize. The Emigrant is the crack propeller; and she is truly a noble craft -- well worthy the taste and enterprise of the Clevelanders, and their ingenious mechanics. Her Commander, Capt. STONE, is by no manner of means, an ordinary seaman. His prompt attention evinced towards his passengers, his urbanity of manner and assiduity are very highly spoken of by all those who made the trip with the Emigrant to the Far West. Hers will be a brilliant success.
