Steamboat Association -- Freights

The rates agreed upon are as follows, to be in effect until the 1st of September:

From Buffalo to Cleveland and all ports east thereof, 12 1/2 cents per 100 lbs. for heavy, and 15 cents for light.

To Mackinaw, Milwaukie, Racine, Southport and Chicago, 20 cents for heavy, and 35 for light.

The tariff charged by propellers and sail vessels is much below this.
