Ohio Canal.--This link in the great chain of internal improvements is in a state of forwardness towards completion, and it is expected the section terminating in lake Erie will be navigable the ensuing fall. Cleveland is situated at this junction, and is making rapid strides in its march to future greatness. The appropriation made by congress for the improvement of that harbor will be expended the present season; many valuable buildings are going up, and it must soon become one of the most important places on lake Erie.
