Port of Manitowoc. A diver has made the Green Stone Co. a proposition to remove everything of value on the sunken barge Baldwin on equal shares (unsure?). The diver is with the Great Lakes Co. and is said to be one of the best in the business, and does not anticipate any trouble whatever in getting the boiler, pump, anchors, cable, &o (unsure), on the sunken craft. The work will have to be done at once as the Baldwin lies in quicksand, and she must be pretty well buried by this time. The Green Co., it is said, will accept the proposition on these terms.
