Local Marine. The new steel motor boat Gilbert cleared from the Smith shipyard Saturday afternoon going by way of Green bay to Washington Island for the first run. The Gilbert is one of the neatest little craft ever built at the Smith yards and her trip to Alaska will be watched with interest although she will not reach the Pacific coast until next spring.
