Gathered in the Local Harbor. The tug Torrent, Capt. Hank Tufts, was called to Traverse bay Monday on a wrecking job, the schooner J. H. Meade being in trouble at that point. The Torrent went from here to Milwaukee after a pump and boiler which the owners of the craft have purchased for their wrecking operations. From what can be learned the Meade, which was loaded with lumber, had sprung a bad leak and been beached in Traverse bay. The Torrent will pump the vessel out and tow her to Chicago.
