Gathered in the Local Harbor.

The steamer Sydney O. Neff, Capt. Ebel, was a brief visitor at this port Sunday while en route to Arcadia, Mich., from which port she will carry a large amount of lumber. As there is only about five feet of water at the harbor entrance to that port the Neff will have to dredge a channel through the sand bar with her wheel before she will be able to load. By the way, The Nessen company has recently acquired the steambarge Edward Buckley by purchase, after having had her under charter for several seasons.
