Port of Menominee. The Pewaukee has been lying in the slip on the Menekaune side since last Saturday trying to secure a cargo. Captain Gustofson has laid off all the crew except the engineers, firemen and cook in order to reduce expenses. Nothing like it has ever been experienced on this river before.
