Among the boats in winter quarters at Manistee are the Edward Buckley, Robt. C. Wente, W. F. Fletcher, Chas. Reitz, N. J. Nessen, Maggie Marshall, Mark B. Covill, Pere Marquette 2, Helen C. and schooners Isabella Sands and Arendall. The steambarge Wotan, Captain Bernson, got froze in at Tonawanda and was forced to winter there.
