Men refused to Unload Ties From the Buckley Yesterday

The steamer Buckley is not likely to get away from the foot of Sugar Island for several hours yet. A tug went down yesterday to help her out of her difficulty, carrying a crew of men sufficient to take off the cargo of ties in short order, but a dispute arose over the amount of money to be paid for the work. As a result the tug and crew came back and the crew of the stranded boat will have to do all the work, unless somebody else is found to undertake the job. From information received here it is learned that the boat is four feet out.
