p.3 Launch of a Steam Frigate - On Tuesday afternoon next, the 20th inst. the Launch of the Royal Navy Steamer, Cherokee, will actually take place. This vessel will be the largest Steamer afloat on the Canadian Waters, and has been built at Kingston Yard, during the past year. Should the weather prove fine, the sight will be very grand, as the Launch will be conducted with all the formalities and ceremonies, attendant upon Her Majesty's Vessels of War being committed to their element. Capt. Sandom has intimated to us, that all Persons desirous of seeing the Launch will be accommodated. In fact, we cannot do better than to copy the note received.

Her Majesty's Ship built at this Establishment, will be Launched on Tuesday next, the 20th instant, at half past 3 P.M. Any Persons wishing to witness the ceremony, will be accommodated in the Naval Yard.
