Descriptive of a Journey to the North Shore of lake Huron

... I left you I believe on our arrival at Manitoulin where having our own frail craft hauled on board the Gore we found ourselves in the space of ten minutes pacing to and fro on the upper deck of the said steamer. Ere I proceed farther let me pay a slight tribute of thanks to Captain Fraser and the proprietors and for those who want a pleasant excursion unattended by fatigue or anxiety I should recommend a trip on lake Huron.
