p.2 Lake Navigation - steamer Fashion on Detroit to Toledo route, Admiral on Rochester to Toronto route, also mentions Southerner, America, and Traveller.

-Welland Canal - good business expected. [St. Catherines Constitutional]

-Toronto Bay almost clear of ice, Chief Justice is running.

-Oswego, March 7 - schooner Welland made trip to Wilson and back, the schooner Plymouth Rock is to make the same trip.

-steamboat Firefly sold to steamboat company on Rideau Canal for £1550. [Minerve]

-The Shipbuilding on the American Side of the Lake - a total of 28 steamers and 69 schooners. [Buffalo Express 18th]
