p.2 Opening of the Bay of Toronto - on the 11th the Princess Royal, Chief Justice Robinson, Mazeppa and Admiral arrived; dates given for openings for different years.

-Steamboat Arrangements for 1853 - article in [Leader] has many mistakes. [Colonist]

-Lake St. Clair - steamer Ruby, Capt. Ward is checking out ice.

-The Bay City Through the Ice - arrives from Sandusky and leaves for Cleveland. [Detroit Advertiser March 12]
