-A Dangerous Sail on Lake Ontario - while Princess Royal was towing a raft, the tow-line broke and a man was left out all night on lake.

-The Welland Canal - now open; high demand for schooners; American propeller Vermont which burnt to waterline last fall on Lake Erie is rebuilt; the prop. Reindeer is almost ready.

-The Steamer Highlander - disabled off Ducks.

-Imports - 7,8; Exports - 9.
