The steamer Kaloolah had to put back yesterday by reason of considerable amount of ice having drifted into the Bay from the direction of Owen Sound. She had about 150 passengers on board, many of whom were emigrants who had passed the winter at Sturgeon Bay having been intercepted in their route westward, last fall. She will resume her trip in a day or two.
