SAD INCIDENT

We report to have to announce as the Canadian came up to the wharf on Saturday night the 27th ult. Mr. Wm. Speers a resident of this town who had been from for some time and was returning slipped and fell head-long down the hatch-way and breaking his neck died instantly. An inquest has been held on the body and the Jury rendered a verdict of Accidental death.
