-Abduction - Canadian schooner Susannah smuggling at Port Burwell, goes to Buffalo with Collector of Customs on Bail.

-prop. Peninsular ashore at Eagle Harbor, Lake Superior; owned at Detroit.

-steamer Highlander loses hand overboard.

-Schooner Dismasted - schooner Elizabeth dismasted near Ducks, towed in by Oliver Cromwell.
