p.2 Loss of the Bruce Mines Propeller - off Cape Hurd. [Gazette]

-Buffalo, Dec.11 - prop. Niagara, bound to Chicago, sunk in shallow water at Presqu' Isle Harbor.

-Buffalo, Dec. 8th - brig Lewis Cass ashore east of Coneaut pier.

-Close of Lake Navigation - steamer Highlander left for Toronto, the Maple Leaf is frozen in at Toronto Bay, steamers Peerless and Zimmerman to run all winter.
