p.2 Picton, Dec. 14th - 7 vessels locked in ice at South Bay, all laden for west.

-Cleveland, Dec. 12th - 5 props. frozen in, prop. Baltic left for Detroit but forced to return.

-Toronto, Dec. 14th - 60 vessels partially or wholly wrecked on Lake Erie, schooner Napier sinks 8 miles from Canadian shore.

-Sacketts Harbor, Dec. 14th - Wreck of the J.C. Riggs - ashore on 4th Dec. 16 miles below Niagara.

-Auction Sale of Barge - the Good Luck, 95' x 24' x 7', draws 3' water, carries 250 tons or 2500 barrels.
