p.2 The new steamer Bowmanville, Capt. Perry, now in course of completion at Kingston, has been chartered to proceed on the 1st of September from Quebec to Toronto, with a portion of the Parliamentary library, books of the public departments, and with the effects of the officers of the different departments. The Bowmanville was built at Kingston and is a beautiful and commodious craft. After fulfilling her charter she will be placed on the line between Montreal, Ogdensburg, Kingston and Toronto.
